The
Beach House is located on a 40x400 ft lot on the desirable north
shore of Shawano Lake which is known throughout the state for
excellent fishing, swimming, boating, water sports, and family
fun. The lake is over 6000 acres with shallow, sandy beaches and
sand bars perfect for children, water games, or just relaxing
and enjoying the sight of eagles, osprey, herons, our resident
red-headed woodpeckers, and of course deer from near-by woods.
For
more activities, Shawano County Park is an easy walk providing
a playground, boat launch, tennis and basketball courts, sand
volleyball, and softball. There's even an outdoor church service
on Sunday mornings (bring your own chair). Across the street from
the park is Shawano Lake Golf Course with another excellent course
in near-by Cecil.
